KillMyStartup
Request deletion of your data
This page explains how to ask for your data to be deleted from KillMyStartup, the Android app published on Google Play. It applies to the app and to killmystartup.today.
How to request deletion
- Email contact@killmystartup.today from any address.
- Put “Delete my data” in the subject line.
- Tell us roughly when you used the app — a date or a range is enough. KillMyStartup has no accounts, so there is no username to look you up by; the timing is how we find your sessions.
- We delete the matching conversation data and reply to confirm, normally within 30 days.
What gets deleted
| Data | What happens |
|---|---|
| Voice recordings of your session | Deleted |
| Transcripts of what you and the AI said | Deleted |
| Search queries derived from your pitch | Deleted |
What is kept, and for how long
- Nothing is kept about you after deletion. KillMyStartup stores no account, name, email address or profile, so once your recordings and transcripts are removed there is nothing left to retain.
- Your free-trial counter never leaves your device. It is stored in the app's local storage. Clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app removes it, and we cannot see or delete it for you.
- If you make no request, conversation data is retained indefinitely. We do not currently apply an automatic deletion period. Deletion happens when you ask for it.
- Ordinary server logs held by our hosting provider may persist for a short period as part of normal operations. These are not used to identify you.
Deleting data held on your device
On your phone, open Settings → Apps → KillMyStartup → Storage and tap Clear storage. This removes everything the app holds locally, including the free-trial counter. Uninstalling the app has the same effect.
